The Inaugural Fireside Chat with Charles

Welcome to the inaugural fireside chat with Charles in which he answers questions relating to butling and household management.

We were very happy to see that in a short period of time, we had quite a few fantastic questions come in. If you would like to submit a question to Charles, please either enter your query in the Comments section of the blog or email us at using the subject line "The Butler Speaks".

We hope everyone has as much fun watching this video as we did making it!

Media Luncheon at The Academy

Yesterday we hosted a luncheon for media at The Charles MacPherson Academy for Butlers and Household Managers.

Besides enjoying an incredible lunch created by star chef, Arpi Magyar, that consisted of the largest tiger shrimp I think I've ever seen, guests were invited to participate in learning how to make a perfect introduction, set a table fit for a member of the royal family, pack a suitcase like a movie star and much more.

Guests also had an opportunity to meet students who are enrolled in the current Academy session... at least one of them who comes to us as far away as New Zealand!

It was wonderful seeing our teaching laboratory transformed into such a fabulous entertaining facility. I can definitely say that a good time was had by all!
