  1. (I'm not sure if this will post twice, if so I apologize, I'm having technical difficulties here and have to re-type in everything I just did, again.)

I've been interested in the private service field, more specifically the role of the Butler, for many years now. During our travels I've encountered many different people in your industry who have the admirable traits like confidence, without arrogance, servitude without appearing submissive or 'servile', and intuitiveness that borders on clairvoyant at times.

The above qualities are a delicate balance to achieve and quite admirable. I was wondering if you had any advice on how to attain those qualities (or even fine tune what one does have) when working in the hospitality field. So often the managers in the field I'm in are only concerned about the technical aspects. I'm not sure where else to ask... so I came right to the source. :)

    Thank you for your time.

    Kind Regards,

    An eternal student J
